YOUNG PEOPLE'S CLUB
On Friday, September 17, at 8 p.mthe inaugural meeting of the Wellington Young People's Club will be held in the Blind Institute Hall, Dixon Street. An address will be given by Mr. P. A. Smithells, Superintendent of Physical Welfare cf Education. As similar organisations are flourishing in Auckland, Christchurch, and Palmerston North, a successful launching of this club is anticipated. The club is both religiously and politically undenominational. Its objectives are the- education of youth's opinions on matters vitally concerning youth by discussion, and social and educational entertainment. Games, dances, lectures, debates,' swimming, cycling, and play-reading will be among the club's activities. An invitation has been extended to all between the ages of fifteen and thirty. «
