BIGAMIST SENTENCED
P.A. DUNEDIN, This Day. George William James Laughton (42), blacksmith, was sentenced today by Mr. Justice Kennedy to 15 months' imprisonment with hard labour for bigamy. The Judge said that the prisoner had a bad record for dishonesty and deception quite apart from gross deception of the woman with whom he committed the offence.
