TIME TO INVADE BURMA
• LONDON, September 12. "The time is ripe to invade Burma. I should like to sell that idea to a lot of people," said Colonel Combs, commander of an American air task forco in India, in a statement in New Delhi. He added: "The operations hitherto conducted against - the Japanese in occupied Burma will show a dividend when we make a move."
