N.Z. SUBMARINE COMMANDER

LONDON, September 11. Lieutenant L. E. Herrick, D.S.C., R.N., of Hastings, New Zealand, has been named by the Admiralty as one of 10 submarine commanders who sank two large and four medium ships and also seven other ships in the closing stages of the campaign against Italy.
