WEDDING
CAMERON—NELSON.
The marriage took place recently at St. John's Church, Wellington, between Irene Kerr, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. "W. Nelson, Lyall Bay, and lan Donald Cameron, elder son of Mrs. M.
Cameron and the late Mr. G. L. Cameron, Hataitai. The Rev. C. E. Perkins officiated.
The church was beautifully decorated with irises, poppies, and pink blpssoms, and the bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a frock of magnolia super satin cut on, graceful tailored lines, while the . full skirt formed a long sweeping train. Her tulle veil, with applique, was beautifully mounted with white hyacinths, and her bouquet was of white hyacinths. Miss Jean Kerr, of Lyttelton (cousin of the bride) and Miss Jean Cameron (sister of the bridegroom) were bridesmaids. They wore longwaisted Victorian style frocks, the bodices being of Guipure lace and. the full skirts of English crepe de chine. Their colours were blue and, pink respectively, and Juliet caps to match were worn.
The best man was Sergeant Robert Dalgleish (2nd N.Z.E.F., on furlough), and Sergeant Ken Elliot was groomsman. During the signing of the register, "When Song is Sweet" was sung by Mrs. W. Ford, accompanied at the organ by Mr. Lawrence Haggitt. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Lyceum Club, where almost 100 guests were received.
