NINE SONS IN FORCES
FORMER CIRCUS RIDER.
Mrs. John A. Deavers, 46, former circus bareback rider and now wife of a Michigan war plant worker, has been made an honorary life member of the Blue Star Mothers of America. Mother of twenty-two children—two sets of triplets and eight sets of twins —Mrs. Deavers has nine sons in the armed forces. Eight of the sons are serving overseas. • The thrice-married Mrs. Deavers ran away from home when 12 to join a Singling Brothers circus. She was first married when she was 15 and had her oldest set of twins, William and Raymond Kelly, at 16.
