MUSSOLINI'S FATE

STILL TO BE DECIDED

LONDON, September 10,

"What happens to Mussolini now?" asks the "Daily Express." This is one of the problems yet to be solved.

"The Allies' position is quite clear; they want Mussolini for trial, because he is high on'the list of war criminals. It is understood that if we succeed in arresting Mussolini he wijl be tried before a specially-constituted international court. This may not be till after the war, when it is proposed to deal with all the leading war criminals in a series of trials. If Mussolini manages to enter a neutral country, diplomatic pressure will be applied to have him extradited."

The Italian newspaper "Corriere Delia Sera" says that Signor Mussolini has been handed over to the Allies and is in North Africa.

Rec. 11.40 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 10. It is authoritatively denied in London that Mussolini is in North Africa.
