EMPIRE THANKSGIVING

The Home Office states that the King hopes that on Sunday morning, September 12, those responsible for the conduct of religious services of all denominations will giye their congregations the opportunity to join together in national thanksgiving for the surrender of Italy to the United Nations.
For those responsible for the Church of England services the use is recommended of the form of general thanksgiving.—B.O.W.
