CYCLING TO WORK
Sir, —If people have sympathy for the miners, I would like to crave a little sympathy for those who are unable to obtain batteries for their bike lamps. We who are in essential industries and have to get to work early in the morning have a far better excuse for not working than these miners. On making inquiries at the factory where these batteries are made, we learn that the fault is lack of labour. I trust that in the interests of cyclists you will publish this.—l am, etc.,
