HOSPITALITY SERVICE
A very useful service nas been carried out by the Home Hospitality Bureau, situated next-door to the Allied Services Club (Waldorf), and conducted by the New Zealand-America Friendship Group. The function of the bureau is to bring American servicemen into touch with people who are willing to provide them with meals or accommodation, or otherwise assist them in spending their leave in the city. " Among the most enthusiastic and efficient workers responsible for the development of this service is Mrs. J. W. Innes, who as liaison officer concerned herself with many phases of work for the bureau. Mrs. innes has now resigned her voluntary position in this service, in order to devote her full time to the similar needs of both male and female members of the New Zealand Forces.
