PERSONAL NOTES
Lady Davis, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned to Auckland.
Mrs. J. L. Scoullar, of Herne Bay, Auckland, is a visitor to Wellington.
Miss Jane Russell Deans, daughter of Mr. and Mrs., William Deans, of Sandown, Darfield, Cancerbury, has been granted a temporary commmission with the rank of assistant section officer in the New Zealand Women's Auxiliary Air Force. Miss J. Wilson, Bulls, Dominion Commissioner for Wolf Cubs, held a training weekend for cub leaders at Lowry Bay recently, and later attended a conference of the Christian Youth Council at Lower Hutt. Captain and Mrs. G. R. Milward and their two sons, have returned to Christchurch after being the guests of Mrs. Milward's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ferens, of Auckland, and guests of Mrs. Milward's sister, Mrs. P. P. Gardiner, Wellington.
