A GREAT FEAT
RUSSIANS AT STALINGRAD
(Rec. 11.15 a.m.) RUGBY, Feb. 2. "The Times" says: "No postponement can diminish the glory of our allies' great feat of arms which crowns the aevoted city of Stalingrad with double laurels for a defence* against odds not surpassed in military history and for a superb counter-offensive that so completely turned the table. The size of the army the Russians encircled was the same as that encircled at Dunkirk, but there are some miracles of deliverance that are possible only to sea-power."—-8.0.W.
