MESSAGE FROM 30 YEARS AGO

SYDNEY, February 2.

After being at sea in a bottle for 30 years, a loving message signed "Margot," and addressed to Mr. J. Wolfram, Christchurch, New Zealand, has been picked up on the beach at Moruya, 150 miles south of Sydney. The writing on a full sheet of notepaper was faded, but it could be read: "To J. Wolfram, Esq., Canterbury Club, Christchurch, New Zealand, October 3, 1913," it said. "Dearest, I am sending afloat this little note. If it reaches you I will be\very happy. It conveys just all I would say if I were near you, and perhaps even more than words could express. Only you will understand. Au revoir for a little while. With heaps of love, your Margot." The finder has posted the note to the New Zealand address.
