WEDDING
LANCASTER—COOPER. The wedding was solemnised recently at St. Mark's Church, Wellington, by the Rev. N. F. E. Robertshawe, of Joan Mary, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Cooper, Miramar, and Sergeant Alan Boyd, recently returned Jrpm overseas, only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Lancaster, Epgpm, Auckland. The bride wore a charming fullskirted 'frock of white French lace arid carried a sheaf of Christmas lilies. Her tulle veil, which was lent by a friend, was held "in place by a halo of flowers. She was attended by Miss Sheila M. Green and Miss Edna M. McClure (a cousin), who wore frocks made with white velvet bodices and bouffant' skirts of white net. They carried sheafs of blue cornflowers and deep pink roses. Lorna Burder, a small girl. from .Scotland, was flower girl, and wore pale blue sprigged organdie and carried a posy of pink roses. ' A detachment of Miramar Red Cross Voluntary Aids, led by Sister Askew, formed a guard of honour to the bridal party. Private C. A. Cooper and Mr. D. Bambery were ushers, and the bridegroom was attended by StaffSergearit L. J. Ninnis and W. 0.11 S. L. Harrison. The reception was held,at the Eng-lish-speaking Union rooms, the guests being received by Mrs. A. W. Cooper and Mrs. W. A. Lancaster. Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Lancaster will reside in Wellington.
