It has indeed been a great privilege to visit those laid aside and speak a word of comfort and cheer to thorn. Also to distribute plain, and to the point, Gospel literature, and to speak a word for our Master. Prov. 25:11 says, "A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures! of silver." Again It says, "Cast thy bread upon the waters; for thou shalt find it after many days." (Eccle. 11:1). So in faith we scatter the good seed and know that the Lord will give the harvest if we are faithful. Those Christians who travel by tram can always remember these texts in silent prayer, and perhaps draw someone else's, attention to them. In this way we are fellow-helpers together in this great work. We have a large supply of Gospel literature and shall be glad to pass it on. Write Texts In Trams, P.O. Box 1303. G.P.0., Cl. "WHEN BRITAIN STANDS AT BAY." A GREAT"' crisis ls yet to rock the Empire I The' prophecies distinctly foretell this and name the power which is to prove the last great enemy of Britain. Will we be taken off our guard? Will the Empire survive? Nationally—spiritually—what will be the outcome? This will be the ,theme of another vivid address tomorrow (SUNDAY) at 6.45 p.m. by Mr. V. R.
