1000 ARRESTS IN FRENCH CITIES

Quoting official reports from v*johy, the United Press correspondent at Madrid says that more, than a thousand arrests have been made in Lyons, Toulouse, and Marseilles in the last two days, including nearly two hundred officers of the disbanded £"rench army. All the prisoners are described as Communists or de Gaullists..
