UNLAWFUL SALE OF LIQUOR
For unlawfully peddling liquor from a motor-car, Edmund Percy freeman, waiter, aged .29, was sentenced to 21 days' gaol by Mr. A. M. Goulding, S.M., in-the Magistrate's Court today. Senior-Sergeant T. Gampag'nolq said the accused sold a bottle of whisky to a'marine for £4. His car was found to contain twenty bottles of port wine, one bottle of whisky, one of bx*andy, one of cherry brandy, and "one of beer. Accused, who'said he was employed on a ship, said he Had to pay £3 for the whisky.,
