COMMITTED ,FOR TRIAL
John Bourne Baylis, motor-driver, , aged 37, has. been committed by . Mr. J L. Stout, S.M., to the Supreme Court for trial-on a charge of stealing, about September 15 last, two cases containing suiting material and rayon crepe, valued at £467 6s, from the Wellington Harbour Board. Mr. F. W. Ongley appeared-"for the accused, and 18 witnesses were heard. Dennison Boyce Daniel, cranedriver, aged 27 (Mr. G. I. Joseph) has been committed for trial on a charge of stealing : 47.1 yards of suiting i material, valued at £48 19s 3d, from the Federal Steam Navigation Co., Ltd.
