DEATH IN TUNNEL

Apparently falling from a train m which he was returning from Wellington to Palmerston North on Sun* day night, Leading Aircraftman William Patrick Casey, aged 53, a married man, stationed in the Manawatu area, was run over by the train and killed instantly in the Tawa Flat tunnel, his body being severely injured. The body was' found in the tunnel yesterday by a railway surfaceman- Mrs. Casey lives at 106 Toanui Street, Palmerston North, and there is a married daughter. L.A.C. Casey served as a soldier in the last war. and before that was five years in the Navy. _^___
