GAOL FOR THEFT
Pleading guilty in the Magistrate's Court today to three charges of stealing goods valued at £16 from hotel roonis. Albert Leonard Hansen, ag6d 43, a labourer, was sentenced by Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M.. to six months* imprisonment with hard labour. Mr. J. A. Scott, appeared for him. DetectiveSergeant W. McLennan said that the goods were stolen while Hansen was employed as a hotel porter, and that lie had a bad list df previous convictions.
