Christmas Gifts for Sale. The annual sale of work of the Cambridge Terrace Congregational Church Ladies' Guild will be opened on Wednesday at 3 p.m. by Mrs. Catherine Stewart, M.P. The sale will be continued on Wednesday evening and Thursday afternoon and evening. There is to be a great variety of articles suitable for Christmas gifts, and also cakes and produce. Each evening an entertainment will be staged. Tribute to President. At the annual meeting ot the, W.N.R. Residential Nursery, Mrs. F. Porter was again elected president, and Mrs. T. C. A. Hislop (Mayoress), Lady Myers, Dr. Agnes Bennett, Mrs. Alfred Atkinson, Dr. Platts-Mills, Mrs. E. B. Bristow, Mrs. G. M. Morris, Miss McKibbin, Miss Majorie Adams, and Miss Inglis, were elected honorary vice-presidents.
