FORD TYRE FACTORY
TO BE TRANSFERRED TO
RUSSIA
LONDON, October 30. It is announced that the United States Government has arranged to buy Ford Motor Company's tyre factory /in Detroit, and will transfer its equipment to Russia under the leaselend programme. Officials of the Ford Company said that the machines would be dismounted and packed ready for transit as soon as final details of the agreement were settled.
