SERVICE BY EX-SOLDIERS

Sir, —In reply to "44-year-qld Veteran's" letter of October 27, I quite agree with him and would like to know why some of us who. are 46 and 47 years and have done a year's training are still in camp, although other units have put all men of these ages back in civil life, where I am sure they are needed and would be more useful.—l am, etc.,
