TUBERCULOSIS DEATH-RATE IN BRITAIN

Although the death-rate in Britain from all forms of tuberculosis rose by 13 per cent, last year, as compared with 1938-39, it # felt in the first half of this year, according to a statement today by Sir William Jameson, chief medical officer of the Ministry1 of Health.—B.O.W.
