DELIVERY OF GROCERIES
The Minister of Transport (Mr. Semple) i announced today that under a general zoning scheme which he has approved no grocer would deliver in built-up areas more than once a week. The smallest parcel which might be delivered was one weighing 81b, or over three cubic feet in size. Special arrangements were being made to prevent overlapping in rural districts. Separate schemes, which would be strictly enforced, were being drawn up for urban areas.
