THEFTS AT PETONE
During the last few weeks a series of breaking and entering offences has been reported in Petone. ■ These included the theft of money from private houses and to6ls from factories, the theft of £64 worth-of jewellery from a shop, and entering an ironmongery establishment through a sky- ' light.1 The Petone police state that these offences have now been cleared up and the bulk of the property has been recovered.
