BUSES AND TRAINS
HUTT VALLEY SERVICES
The new bus and railway time-tables in the suburban services come into force on Monday. As they involve a reduction in the bus service on the Hutt Road, the attention of morning travellers is drawn to an advertisement today, showing the times at which early buses run from Lower Hutt to Petone and the city. The last of these in the morning is the 8 a.m., and no buses will run from that time until 3.30 p.m., or after 5.40 p.m. The last morning bus from Wellington leaves at 8.30, and the evening service runs from 4 p.m. until 6.30 p.m. Throughout the day, buses will run in the Hutt Valley, connecting with the trains, which have been augmented.
