'They kept together till within sight of home, when Flying Spray worked clear to be a couple of lengths to the good, breaking lmin 19sec for the journey. Arctic- Night, alone, slipped over half a mile, coming home quite lyRiding engagements, where Trentham horsemen are concerned, are:—P. Burgess, Voltaire; J. Garth, Daljarrock, Sir Fox, Sanction, and Moutoa Bond; R. J. Auckram, Wildfire and Makarora.
