T.U.C. RESOLUTION
WORKERS' PART IN CONTROL OF INDUSTRY
RUGBY, September 8. The Trades Union Congress carried :i resolution today calling on the Government to arrange for more active participation of the workers with the' managements. Another, speaker declared that there was in the workers' experience the possibility of unleashing an initiative such as had never yet been witnessed. The congress unanimously decided to urge the Government, as far as is practicable, to take over all industries and personnel vital for the war effort.
