PLANES FOR CARGO
BRITAIN BUILDING THEM
(Rec. 10.30 a.m.) RUGBY, Sept. 9. The Minister of Aircraft Production, Colonel J. J. Llewellin, told the House of Commons that orders had been placed in Britain and a suitable programme of production arranged for cargo-carrying aircraft, and that with the assistance expected from the United States a substantial number of such aircraft should be available.— 8.0.W.
