USE FOR GREAT WAR TROPHIES
WASHINGTON, August 17. The'army has requested the Mayors of all cities to contribute the trophies of the last war, such as captured cannon and tanks, which are now standing in the parks, for conversion into armaments, promising to replace them after the war with new trophies captured from the Germans and Japanese.
