CHUNGKING, August 16
A communique says that the Japanese have suffered 500 casualties in Chekiang.
Several light Japanese vessels were sunk on August 7, when the enemy tried, to cross: the. Wu. River south of Tsingticn. There were 300 casualties in a clash north of Lungyu.
