SWEEPS OVER FRANCE
AMERICANS TAKE PART
LONDON, August 16,
During the past 24 hours, American fighter squadrons, assisted by Canadian fighters of the R.A.F., have made sweeps over France. They have also taken part in protecting convoys.
This is the fourth time in six weeks that United States planes have been in action with the R.A.F.
