Mussolini's purge of the .Italian Fascist Party is continuing, seventy-six thousand members have now been expelled. • \ t Rome radio describes the purge as a revision of the membership." The general secretary of the Fascist Party has given the following reasons for the expulsions:—-Lack of interest in party affairs; refusal to join voluntary militia for national safety; failure to wear the Fascist badge; and infringement of the rationing regulations. He added that systematic examination Of. the position of every member of the Fascist Party was being carried out, to-eliminate harmful debris.
