66,000 EXPULSIONS ' LONDON, August 14. Mussolini is^ carrying .out yet another purge of his Fascist Party, this time a wholesale one. Already, since investigations were begun in May, 66,000 members have been expelled from the party because their allegiance is held in doubt. Among reasons given for the expulsions are lack of interest in party affairs, failure to wear the Fascist -badge, and infringement of rationing regulations. . It is stated that the purge, which is described in Rome as a "revision- of membership," will continue in order to get rid of "harmful deadweights."
