STATE THEATRE. For once in a while, "glamorous" has been used in its true sense and still falls short in describing "Moon Over Miami," which, after one successful run in Wellington, has returned for a season at the State Theatre. In music, fact, and fiction, Miami seems to be the most romantic of America's playgrounds, and in this production nothing has been spared in the attempt to pass on the real atmosphere. The music is bright and plentiful, and there is a generous helping of fun and romance. The strong cast is headed by Don Ameche and Betty Grable. "The Man at the Gate" is the longest of the many items on the supporting programme, and is an inspiring story of -English fisher folk. The war in Russia and the mechanisation of America's army are other topical features. PARAMOUNT THEATRE, j "Pimpernel Smith" and "I Killed That Man" conclude tonight at the i Paramount Theatre.
