KEEN DEMAND FOR FLAGS
Evidence of the intensity and extent of the interest in United Nations Day has been the demand for flags received from all parts, of*the Dominion.- Requests for flags have come from large municipalities as well as from counties and town boards, and the Department of Internal Affairs, after ransacking every possible supply outside of its own, has had to report that the stock is exhausted. The Department in conveying this information to local authoriies has urged "that, even if there are no flags to display, the celebration of the United. Nations Day should be carried through in- the spirit of President Roosevelt's request
