D.F.C. TO WELLINGTONIAN
LONDON, June 5
The D.F.C. has been awarded to Flight Lieutenant Harold Leslie North, of Wellington, who is serving with the Australian Air Force. /
The citation states that he has commanded his flight since the formation of the squadron. He performed very valuable work during the training of the squadron and also in its operational activi i 3, displaying great courage and initiative. Earlier when he was with another unit, he fought in the Battle of Britain.
