The Japanese have a lai'ge submarine fleet. It includes sevei-al'of 1500 tons, and there are. very few. in any way larger than these; A considerable number .carry ;a. SJ-inclv gun each, several have two of these guns, and a. .large number carry ~; a y 4i7-ihch gun. One 1900-ton Vessel is listed as carrying a seaplane. '■'<-■ -
