NEW ATTACKS BY R.A.F.

(Rec. 11 a.m.) RUGBY, June 7. An air communique issued in New Delhi states that a Japanese troop concentration on the Chindwin River, near the frontiers of India, was attacked by the R.A.F. All the bombs fell on the target area. The R.A.F. operated against Akyab. A merchant vessel was attacked and river craft in the same area were attacked at a low level.
