HOME GUARD CLOTHING
(To the Editor.)
Sir,—l agree with "Trainees" that there should be socks for Home Guardsmen without surrendering M coupons. Besides evening training, I spend all day Sunday going through a most strenuous course of infantry training. This is run by the Army and, at the end of the day, more, than our socks are worn out. With many others I agree that a full day's training should be paid for, although we don't expect double rates like some workers receive.—l am, etc., ! SERGEANT TRAINEE.
