STILL FIGHTING
DEFENDERS OF BATAN
(Rec. 10.15 a.m.) NEW YORK, April 23. Tokio official' radio reported that over 500 American and Filipino troops were still fighting in the jungles round Mount Baloy, Batan's highest peak. The "Asahi Shimbun" reported that the Japanese had completed the occupation of Panay.
