DERAILMENT AT PLIMMERTON
The engine of a goods train on the south main line was derailed at Plim,merton at 9.5 o'clock last night. Passengers on the 10.20 train from Wellington last night were required to tranship at Plimmerton, as were also those on two more passenger trains from Paekakariki, and those from the express which left Auckland at 3 p.m. yesterday. There was no occasion for the passengers from Auckland by the Limited to tranship, the line by this time having been cleared.
