STUDIES IN CAMP

Reference to the facilities being provided to enable University students to study while in camp was made by Sir Thomas Hunter, principal, at a meeting of the Victoria College Council last' night. . Steps had been taken, he said, to ensure that there should be a supply of students for such essential services as medicine, radio-physics, etc., and the Professorial Board was considering what assistance it could give to' students in arts, commerce, and law who were in camp. "We are trying to work out a scheme," he said, "so that men who want to go on with their studies in camp, if they have got time to do it, can be. given some direction and assistance."
