Form at the Waikato Meeting last Saturday should furnish a useful guide at the Te Aroha Jockey Club's fixture. The fields are of excellent strength; indeed, in the Waitoa Handicap a division will be necessary. The principal event, the Herries Memorial, finds Beau Leon and Lou Rosa at the head of the weights with 9.12 each. Both are top-class performers, and despite their big poundages should run prominently. A lightweight with prospects is Miss Gay, and in the centre of the handicap Clinch is nicely placed.
