HERE AND THERE
Khandallah Knitting Club. The annual meeting of the Khandallah Knitting Club was held on Tuesday at the residence of Mrs. Cusack. Mrs. R. B. Tait presided. The club's activities, when reviewed, showed that over £40 had been subscribed by the members to purchase Wool from which garments were knitted and distributed among the various forces. The president thanked all members for their co-operation during: the past year and hoped' the coming year of work would show even greater results. The hostess was warmly thanked for her hospitality. Sale at Strathmore Park. Mrs. Mason's residence, Cavendish Square, Strathmore Park, will be the scene of an all-day "bring and buy" tomorrow. The proceeds will be devoted to Red Cross funds, and the women of the district have been working hard to ensure that there will be sufficient goods for sale throughout the whole period.
