SCHOOL SWIMMING

CHAMPIONSHIP CONTESTS

Young swimmers, representing many schools, were at Uie Te Aro Baths on Tuesday as competitors iv the Wellington primary schools swimming championships. There were about 250 of them and they showed a fine alllouud standard of performance.

Clyde Quay won the schools' championship with 2.S points, Thorndon, 1!J, was second, and Kilbirnie, 17, third. The zones' championship was won by the Eastern zone with 57 points. City zone was second witb AH points, and Northern 1 was third with 25 points.
