ABUSES BY GERMANS
UNION NATIONALITY IN SOUTH-WEST AFRICA

The Minister of the Interior, IVfx. Lawrence, has introduced a Bill depriving Germans in south-west Africa of their Union nationality, which th ey automatically acquired under legislfeition passed in 1924 and 1928.
He explained that the measure iw.ps necessary because many naturalist^ Germans had abused Union naiionsility by promoting Germany's interests against South Africa's.
