CHINA AND THE NEAR EAST
LONDON, February 23. Chinese relations with countries of the Near East are being extended.
The Chinese Minister in Ankara left today for Bagdad to negotiate a treaty of friendship with Irak. Later, [here is to be an exchange of Ministers.
As a result of negotiations between the Chinese representative and the Persian Ambassador. Persia is also going to exchange Ministers with China.
It is also stated that Turkey is sending a charge d'affaires to Chungking.
