VICHY AID TO AXIS
U.S.A. NOT SATISFIED WITH
EXPLANATION
WASHINGTON, February 19
The Under-Secretary of State, Mr. Welles, announced that the United States is not satisfied with the Vichy explanations of French aid for the Axis forces in Libya, and said that further instructions have been, sent to the Ambassador at Vichy, Admiral Leahy.
